Get superior protection against humidity, wind, hail and mold thanks to the exclusive SmartGuard^TM process. In Québec, thawing and freezing occur in quick succession on a regular basis. LP^TM SmartSide^TM is designed to overcome these trials by allowing the panels to preserve their structure for years. The SmartGuard^TM process covers each wood fiber with a formula composed of resin, wax and zinc borate; the whole is then enveloped in an additional coat of protection. The result is extraordinary resistance to humidity.

Next, the ExpertFinish^TM protects your cladding’s colour for years. The colours will remain uniform despite any texture variations of the product. Application is made in-factory in a controlled environment and includes a primer and finishing coat by the same manufacturer. Paint is made of acrylic latex.
